Homenetmen Burbank Sipan chapter’s Athletics Division follows the chapter’s mission to enrich the lives of Armenian youth of Burbank and surrounding cities. We are committed to provide a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can be part of the organization.
Basketball
Homenetmen Burbank Sipan Chapter has sixteen basketball teams across a variety of age groups, giving young athletes of all levels the opportunity to develop their skills, build teamwork, and experience the excitement of competitive play.
Our athletes participate in year-around practices twice a week based on the following schedule

Our athletes also participate in internal games, Navasartian Games (Western Region), HABC (Winter Games) and various tournaments organized by Homenetmen Sipan (Burbank), Sevan (San Diego), Sardarabad (Orange County), Sassoon (Fresno), Azadamard (Pasadena).
Basketball Leagues:
Sipan League
Sipan League is a youth basketball program designed for children ages 6 through 14, focused on building fundamental and functional basketball skills in a supportive and structured environment. Practices are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with schedules varying by age group. Each season runs approximately 10 weeks, followed by a short two-week break. This league serves as a developmental pathway, preparing players to advance to competitive teams within the organization. Burbank Youth League (D-League)
Burbank Youth League is a complete youth basketball program for boys and girls ages 5–13, offering practices, training, and games in a fun, structured environment.
Players are grouped into four age divisions, with five seasons per year, each lasting 8 weeks. Each week includes one practice and one game, providing a great balance of skill development and game experience.

Volleyball
The Girls Volleyball Program at Homenetmen Burbank Sipan Chapter is designed to develop young athletes ages 11–16 through structured training, teamwork, and competitive play. The program focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving skills, and fostering discipline in a supportive and encouraging environment. Players have the opportunity to grow both individually and as part of a team while representing the chapter with pride. In addition to weekly practices, teams actively participate in numerous tournaments organized by the Homenetmen Western Region as well as other sister organizations, giving athletes valuable game experience and exposure to competitive play.
