Robert Mehrabi – (Chairperson)

Robert Mehrabi currently serves as chairperson at Homenetmen Burbank Sipan Chapter.He has been a member of Sipan Cultural and Athletic organization in Tehran, Iran since young age. Robert is one of the founding members of Homenetmen Burbank Sipan Chapter. Since the establishment of the chapter, he has been actively involved and coached basketball teams, served in athletic and fundraising committees and has been a member of executive committee numerous times. He also has been chairperson of Bashir Mardirosyan Center’s committee for many years.Robert has been residing in Burbank since 1989 and aside from his contributions to Armenian community and Homenetmen Sipan, he built and grew his own business in Burbank, was an active parent and sponsor of Burnbank High School’s water polo and swim teams.He is also a board member of California Fire Sprinkler Coalition. 

Caroline Moradi – (Secretary)

Caroline Moradi is the executive board’s secretary, and has served in various Homenetmen Sipan committees over the years.  She has been involved in the Armenian community since a young age, participating in Homenetmen’s athletics division as a gymnast.  She took on a leadership role in the gymnastics community and led Sipan’s dance group in Armenia, and gymnastics teams to several competitions and training camps in Iran.  Her passion for physical discipline and the Armenian culture extends to academia, reflected in her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Armenian History and Literature.

Zavik Moscowjian – (Treasurer)

Zavik Moscowjian serves as Homenetmen Sipan’s treasurer. He has been an active member in the Armenian community since childhood, participating in boy scouts, athletics, theater and choir.  He has been part of choir groups both in Iran and the United States, he has also played different main roles in theater. Zavik has been active member of the Yerets division at Homenetmen Sipan, and has continually supported efforts at the annual Navasartian games.  Zavik is also a proud business owner and has had leadership and executive roles in his professional life. He is an active member of his local community and is in charge of different charity events.

Armineh Keshishian – (Advisor)

Armineh Keshishian serves as the liaison for the Yerets division for the executive board.  She began her contributions to the Armenian cause since her childhood years in Tehran, Iran.  She participated in Ararat Organization scouts and athletics, served as a field coach, and also secretary for Armenian Cause subcommittee with Yerets division. Since moving to the United States, she has been an active PTA member at various Glendale public schools, served as Homenetmen Ararat Chapter secretary for the Athletic Division Board; was Co-Founder and Board Member of the Davidian Mariamian Educational Foundation; was a member for the City of Glendale’s Intercultural subcommittee; served as Secretary and Board Member of Committee for Armenian Students in Public Schools (CASPS); and was an active member at Homenetmen Sipan Yerets division.

Aylin Miranian – (Advisor)

Aylin Miranian was a pivotal building block for Sipan’s scouting division in Iran for many years, where she also served as a summer counselor and private Armenian tutor.  Since moving to the United States, she has participated in numerous Armenian-American parenting associations at local public schools and has also been an active PTA member. She has worked as a preschool teacher and also has experience working with children at different ages. She has carried different leadership roles in her professional life. 

 Aylin joined Homenetmen Burbank Sipan in year 2000 and started her activities as Scout leader and has also served in different committees at Homenetmen Sipan throughout all these years.  This is her second year serving in Homenetmen Sipan’s executive board, where she serves as the representative and liaison for both the PR committee and budgeting/financial planning committee.

Bedig Kasparian – (Advisor)

Bedig Kasparian has been a member of Homenetmen since childhood and has climbed the leadership ranks in every division.  He has reached the highest degree in scouting, has represented two countries and won two gold medals in world championships, and has been appointed to numerous committees as a key representative over the years.  During his free time Bedig is a first aid volunteer, marathon organizer, Armenian Heritage Club representative, and Armenian Drugs Addiction Program volunteer.  His personal hobbies, aside from those involved with Homenetmen, include skydiving, bungee jumping and mountain climbing.  In fact, Bedig has climbed and reached Mount Ararat’s peak four times, and has led more than 100 Armenians to reach the summit of Mount Ararat.  Bedig serves in Homenetmen Sipan’s executive board as the lead accountant and social media representative, working to structure and maintain financial bookkeeping and strengthen Sipan’s social media usage. 

Paralee Tahmasian – (Advisor)

Paralee Tahmasian has been a member of Homenetmen Sipan since 2002.  Her involvement began in the scouting division, where she worked her way up the leadership ladder over the years until finally becoming the scouting division’s lead representative and liaison for the executive committee.  Paralee is also active in the wider Los Angeles community, volunteering and working with the Glendale Unified School district on a regular basis.
